Can you imagine being forced to survive for an entire month on only enough water to fill a small jerrycan?
The people of Nepal do this regularly. Tanker companies have seized control of dire situations where rampant drought keeps cities in a choke-hold. Being one of the few water sources available to the people, some of these companies are corrupt and charge outrageous prices to deliver water to those in need. Some of those most controlled by greed even contribute to keeping conditions the same so they can profit.
With an entire country on its knees, could the reality of Nepal be a certain future for some regions?
