Sports career
He was a player of Lubtouru Zielona Góra and from 1985 Oleśniczanka.
At the Polish Senior Championships he won eight medals, including one gold (in cross-country race at 12 km in 1993 ), three silver (in the 10,000 meters run in 1988 , cross-country race at 12 km in 1989 and 1992 ) and four bronze ( in cross-country race at 10 km in 1986 , cross-country race at 12 km in 1988 , cross-country race at 10.5 km in 1990 and marathon in 1997 ) [1] .
He represented Poland at the cross-country world championships in 1986 (76th place in the 12 km run) and 1989 (69th place in the 12 km run) [2] , as well as in the B European Cup final in 1989 , taking seventh place in a 10,000 meter run, with a score of 30: 04,84 [3] .
